The poems in the project were created based on the accounts of the research participants, with the support of artificial intelligence (ChatGPT). For the construction of each poem, an aesthetic movement was chosen from among classicism, troubadourism, concretism, surrealism, dadaism, futurism, and postmodernism, with the aim of placing the reader within a historical and sequential narrative. We hope you enjoy the journey through space and time!

What I love about Canada is this:
A land of dreams where hopes don't miss,
Where diversity blooms in every heart,
And justice plays its noble part.

Amidst vast resources, nature's grace,
Safety shelters every race.
The environment, pristine and grand,
Spreads beauty across the maple land.

In work options and opportunities wide,
 Multiculturalism takes its stride.
People from every corner, every shore,
Find freedom here to dream and more.

Cultures blend in a harmonious song,
 Immigrants find where they belong.
 Festivals burst in joyous cheer,
Professional paths shine bright and clear.

With ethics strong and hearts sincere,
We cherish differences, hold them dear.
Health thrives in the norm we see,
A tapestry of humanity.

Canada, where the soul is free,
This is the love you’ve given me.

What I wish immigrants would know about Canada is this song,
A land where anything is possible, where dreams belong.
Her beautiful expanse, a canvas vast and wide,
Where the economy thrives and life quality does abide.

In the cadence of French, a melody so sweet,
Though the winters may be cold, warmth in friends you’ll meet.
Opportunity blooms as you embark on this migrating quest,
In Canada, you'll find a culture that’s truly the best.

Here, home is where your heart and dreams combine,
For children to flourish and diversity to shine.
In the dance of multiculturalism, inclusivity does reign,
Settle here, integrate, in harmony remain.

Language is your bridge, to services a key,
In this land of coexistence, where all are free.
Though the immigration process may seem a winding road,
Transportation will guide you to your new abode.

Canada, a land where the heart finds its beat,
Where the song of life is vibrant, and every soul is sweet.

What I wish Canadians would know about immigration is this:

In the grand epic of the world’s expanse,
Each immigrant steps forth, a tale in trance.
Their journey, a quest where old dreams entwine,
Woven with threads of their culture divine.

Arriving not as mere wanderers, but bearers
Of stories profound, rich beyond any measures.
A transition both bold and profoundly wise,
With each choice they make, a new path to devise.

Education, the vessel of ancient and new,
A bridge to unite, where knowledge and spirit imbue.
Challenging though it be, their voyage we share,
Forging friendships, a society laid bare.

In this grand dance of collaboration and grace,
Our country’s tapestry finds a new face.
The impact of their presence, a song’s gentle swell,
In their stories, our own we find and dwell."

What I wish Canadians would know about Canada is this:

Jobs
Opportunities
French
Precious
Diverse

Multicultural threads interwoven,
Challenges faced, yet opportunities woven.
Pride and Nationalism in every stride,
Population's diversity a vast, strong tide.

Perspectives shifting,
Cultural layers lifting,
Social Fabric, a mosaic sifting.

Economy strong, a Society wide,
Empathy guides this Nation's stride.
Classes blending, Multiculturalism's essence,
Diamond bright in its luminescence.

What I wish the world would know about the immigration system in Canada is this dreamscape:

In the labyrinth of bureaucracy,
Challenges whisper to the wind,
Patience, a ghostly dance,
Immigrants, shadows seeking light.

Alone yet entwined,
Everyone journeys through the mist,
Challenging paths twist and turn,
Money, an echo in the cavernous halls.

The world, a mosaic of promises,
Effort, a slow river, carving its course,
Pathways unfold, like serpents in twilight,
The refugee system, a fragile bloom in frost.

Language, a bridge of whispers,
Culture, a tapestry of dreams,
Newcomers weave into the fabric,
Integrate in surreal harmony.

 Situation, an enigmatic puzzle,
Gaps, chasms of uncertainty,
Multiple actors in a cosmic play,
Where reality and dreams interlay.

Based on my experience about immigration in Canada, what I know is this:

Room for improvement! Shouted the silent walls,
Taxes! echoing in the corridors of the mind,
Economic system a jigsaw puzzle, pieces missing, pieces found,
Labor market dancing, a tango of hope and despair.

Education a golden apple,
Alone, yet surrounded by the faceless crowd,
Adversity, a shadow puppet show,
Magic in the mundane, sparkles in the grind.

Stressful! The word bounces, ricochets,
Immigration process, a maze with invisible cheese,
Multiculturalism painted in Dali’s dreamscape,
Pleasure hidden in the crevices of struggle.

People, a mosaic of stories,
Opportunity a fleeting ghost,
Timeframe a melting clock,
Privileged immigrant, a paradox in a bowler hat.

This is what I know, a dadaist collage of truth,
Nonsensical clarity, in Canada’s immigration booth.

With all of that, what I know is...

Safe, this country, a haven of electric light,
Empathy pulses through circuits of care,
Canada, a beacon in the digital night,
Money flows like data, precise and fair.

Everything interwoven in this cybernetic age,
Each person a pixel, a node of bright force,
Experience coded, lines on a global page,
Migration a stream, a survivor's course.

Future forward in the dance of mobility,
Resilient communities, steel and heart entwined,
Settlement patterns in neon nobility,
Services swift, efficiency redefined.

Immigrant integration, the algorithm's grace,
Struggles refracted through a prism of might,
Newcomers forging in a digital space,
Working together, crafting the light.

What I know is...
s In Canada's evolving frame,
A tapestry of hopes and dreams inflame,
An interconnected world, a symphony,
Where past, present, and future proclaim.

If I could change one thing about immigration in Canada, I would...

Reshape family, the heart of migration,
Make it a priority, beyond the labor market's gaze,
Dissolve the labyrinthine bureaucracy,
So every home finds its warmth, no longer a maze.

In a world not overpopulated, but rich with permanent residents,
Disrupt the pattern, rethink integration,
Welcome newcomers with open arms,
Erase barriers of language, foster true belonging.

Imagine an experience where culture thrives,
Education reimagined, free from confines,
Be patient with expectations, fluid in practice,
Support a seamless, humane process.

If I could change one thing, I would:
Turn the abstract into the concrete,
Make compassion our policy,
And home a place where everyone meets.
